Not that I don't have anything to write ...

Yikes! It's been almost a month since my last post! A lot has happened ... nothing huge, but just a lot of stuff.

The biggest focus right now is Illumination 2009, Corona International Christian Fellowship's first huge outreach. You can get more info on that event here. So I'm praying that those of you who are not members of CICF, or any church for that matter, can come down and check it out ... it's free!

BTW, what the promo material doesn't say is that the CICF worship team will start things out at about 6:45 p.m., so if you can make it down by then so that there are people in the auditorium, it'll make us feel like our months of practice will be worth it -- ask the team members, I'm kinda riding them pretty hard right now. That's the main reason for not blogging lately ... I'm taking whatever free time (between work, ministry, training for the 2009 Rock n' Roll Marathon, there's not a lot of "free" time) to really sharpen the music we'll be sharing that night.

So until I can carve out time to write, enjoy this video by Chris Tomlin and Israel Houghton at the Passion 2007 conference in Atlanta ... And I hope I'll see you at 6:45 p.m. March 21 at the Corona Civic Center Auditorium for Illumination ... :-)

And Jesus said to the apostles the night before He went to the cross:
"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."
John 15:13-15
